Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking an experienced Structural Revit Technician for a contract role in Derby. You will produce high-quality drawings and detailing, working in a busy design team on major projects, outside IR35.

The role focuses on AutoCAD and Revit drafting, BIM Level 2 compliance, and collaboration with engineers to drive delivery from concept through to construction. Immediate start for an urgent long-term contract.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong technical detailing skills and a good understanding of structural construction.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate structural drawings and detailing using AutoCAD.
• Supporting the delivery of major construction projects valued at over £20 million.
• Preparing drawings in line with current industry standards and BIM Level 2 requirements where applicable.
• Working with a variety of structural materials including steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Liaising closely with structural engineers and other design team members to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and accurately.
• Assisting with project delivery from concept through to construction.

Structural Revit Technician - Contract

£40.00-£45.00 per hour (outside IR35)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Structural Technician to join a busy engineering consultancy in Derby on an urgent long-term contract.

Working as part of an established design team, you will play a key role in producing high-quality structural drawings and technical detailing for complex building projects.

As a Structural Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Producing accurate structural drawings and detailing using AutoCAD
• Supporting the delivery of major construction projects valued at over £20 million
• Preparing drawings in line with current industry standards and BIM Level 2 requirements where applicable
• Working with a variety of structural materials including steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry
