Job summary

Conrad-Consulting seeks an experienced Structural Technician to join a busy engineering consultancy in Derby on an urgent long-term contract. You will create high-quality structural drawings and detailing for complex building projects within a fast-paced design team.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential, with strong detailing skills and knowledge of structural construction. You will collaborate closely with structural engineers to deliver projects efficiently to budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong technical detailing skills and understanding of structural construction.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate structural drawings and detailing using AutoCAD.
• Support delivery of major construction projects.
• Prepare drawings in line with industry standards and BIM Level 2 where applicable.
• Work with steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Liaise with engineers and design team to ensure accurate delivery.
• Assist with project delivery from concept through to construction.
