Job summary

Severn Trent Plc in Derby is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our Supply Chain Team. The role involves receipting, issuing and returning stock, stocking replenishment, and delivering to multiple Severn Trent sites.

You will liaise with Team Leaders to improve materials management and meet performance targets, and handle supplier discrepancies as needed. Based in Derby with potential coverage in other regions; a valid driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or supply chain role with a physical/manual focus.
• Ability to work with SAP and Excel to manage stock and reports.
• Good team player with a proactive approach to stock control and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Receipting, issuing and returning stock.
• Identifying when materials need replenishing.
• Delivering to multiple sites across the Severn Trent network.
• Liaise with Team Leaders to drive materials management improvements and deadlines.
• Raise delivery discrepancies and quality concerns with suppliers.
• Role based in Derby but may cover other regions; valid driving licence required.
