Job summary

Swanton Care and Community in Derby is seeking Bank Support Workers/Carers to help people live independently at home. This is a zero-hour contract role based in Derby (DE1). You will provide practical and emotional support, while building relationships and promoting dignity.

Experience with learning disabilities is helpful, but full training is provided. You’ll join a supportive team and can access development opportunities and staff benefits through Swanton.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people to achieve their goals, respecting individuality and enabling choices to live the life they wish.
• Promote health, well-being and inclusion in line with individual support plans.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties and elements of personal care as required.
• Complete a range of records and documents as part of the role.
