Qualifications

• Adaptable and flexible with excellent communication; able to work as part of a team.
• Experience of challenging behaviour and/or learning disabilities is preferred but training will be provided.
• This position is to support a female person in their own home.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to empower individuals to achieve goals in line with their support plans.
• Promote health and well-being and ensure inclusive consideration of beliefs, culture and preferences.
• Facilitate social, educational or work activities and assist with everyday outings and shopping.
• Perform general housekeeping and domestic duties and help build home skills.
• Complete records and documents using electronic systems.
• Support in managing challenging behaviour in line with plans and risk assessments.
• Maintain professionalism and boundaries while being outgoing and friendly.
