Swanton Care & Community Ltd in Colne is opening a new Supported Living Service and is seeking a Bank Support Worker to join the core team, helping people live independently at home and in the community.

You will work across days, evenings, nights and weekends, providing 1:1 or 2:1 support, promoting wellbeing, dignity and inclusion, and helping with daily tasks and personal care as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate, caring and motivated to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and brain injuries.
• Willingness to work across 1:1 or 2:1 support scenarios to enable independence.
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a positive attitude to join a brand-new service.

Responsabilités

• Support people to develop independence and confidence in daily life
• Encourage participation in hobbies, education and community activities
• Assist with visits to family and friends, shopping trips and social opportunities
• Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs
• Promote wellbeing, choice, dignity and inclusion at every opportunity
• Support with household tasks, meal prep and a comfortable home environment
• Assist with personal care where required
• Complete records and documentation accurately
