This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable adults who are unable to manage their own financial affairs due to mental incapacity. As a Deputyship Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding people's finances, promoting their independence, and ensuring their best interests are always at the heart of decision-making.
Managing a diverse caseload of approximately 50 individuals, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial affairs, ensuring clients receive the correct welfare benefits and entitlements, manage savings and assets, and authorising expenditure that supports their wellbeing and quality of life. You will join an established, supportive, and skilled team, working collaboratively with colleagues across Adult Social Care and Nottingham Care and Support Providers to deliver an invaluable service to some of the city's most vulnerable residents.
