Job summary

Glaslyn Ward, Ysbyty Gwynedd, is seeking a Deputy Ward Manager to lead the Care of the Elderly ward. This fixed term/secondment post requires a motivated leader with strong communication and clinical standards, capable of guiding staff and delivering high-quality patient care on a busy ward.

The post is open to BCUHB staff on secondment with permission from their line manager; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Glaslyn Ward, Ysbyty Gwynedd has an exciting opportunity to join our Care of the elderly ward. We are looking for a Deputy Ward Manager who is highly motivated and enthusiastic to assist in developing the service for the future.

This is a demanding role that requires commitment and a positive leadership approach towards change. You will have excellent communication skills and high clinical standards with a passion to make a difference for patients and staff alike. Managing and controlling the activities of the ward in an effective and efficient manner.

Secondment Requirements
