A leading healthcare provider in Stockport is seeking a Registered General Nurse to join a busy team on an elderly medicine ward. The successful candidate will lead by example, guiding the team while delivering high-quality patient care. Support will be provided for your professional development and leadership skills as you manage ward responsibilities effectively.
We are looking for a highly experienced Registered General Nurse with strong clinical skills, who is enthusiastic, and motivated to provide visible leadership in support of the Ward Manager on E2
The post holder will be and experienced band 5 nurse who can demonstrate they have a range of transferable skills within the hospital setting.
WE also welcome current Band 5s who wish to take on a new challenge on a busy 34 bedded elderly medicine ward, caring for patients who are admitted for treatment and assessment under the medical directorate.
The successful candidate will be supported to develop their leadership skills and will lead by example to deliver excellent high-quality care.
Supported by the Ward manager and Matron, you will develop your professional accountability, innovative thinking contributing to a clear vision for the in-patient nursing area. You will be responsible for the continuous management of the ward and contributing to high standards of care delivery.
We are looking for a caring, compassionate individual that is well organised, thrives under pressure and feels ready to develop their leadership skills within a friendly and supportive team.

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
