Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking a Deputy Team Manager in Children’s Social Care to lead a hub of Senior Social Work Practitioners, Social Workers, Family Help Lead Practitioners and Business Support staff.

You will coordinate a range of social care services for children, young people and families, including assessments and safeguarding work within the Bath and North East Somerset area. The role emphasises relationship-based, trauma-informed practice and cross-agency collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Significant social work experience.
• Supervisory experience and PEPS qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of legislative framework governing children’s services.

• Lead, coordinate and deliver a range of social care services to children, young people and families.
• Manage single assessments and section 47 child protection investigations.
• Provide monthly supervision and oversee hub allocations and care planning.
