Job summary

Acorns Children's Hospice is seeking a Deputy Superstore General Manager to drive sales and lead a large-format charity store in the West Midlands region. You will work with the Superstore Manager to motivate volunteers and ensure an excellent customer experience on the shop floor.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a track record of meeting sales targets and the ability to prioritise in a busy retail environment, with responsibilities including stock, pricing and visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Experience of meeting sales targets.
• Experience of leading a team.
• Proven problem solver with ability to manage priorities.
• Role involves significant manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Drive the achievement of store sales targets by encouraging donations, purchases and Gift Aid.
• Support the Superstore Manager in creating a vibrant shop-floor experience that reflects our brand values.
• Make informed decisions on stock quality, pricing and visual merchandising to maximise appeal and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee and support efficient processes for collection, delivery, sorting and processing of donated goods.
• Provide inspirational leadership to a diverse team of volunteers and deputy managers.
