A leading technology firm is seeking a Deputy Site Security Controller to support security operations at their UK site. This full-time role requires a UK national with experience in security control, asset management, and compliance with national security standards. The Deputy SSC will oversee security activities, manage classified assets, and fulfill crypto custodial duties to ensure the integrity and security of sensitive information.

Deputy Site Security Controller
This role is full time onsite at DXC Erskine / Mon-Fri office hours.
*Candidates must be a UK national/British citizen and have resided in the UK for the past 5-10 years to meet current SC and future DV security clearance requirements*
The Deputy Site Security Controller (SSC) supports the Site Security Controller (SSC) in the delivery of a variety of site related security activities such as new starter briefings, the registration and management of classified assets, managing the combinations for safes used within the Facility and overseeing the issue of passes to site-based employees. The Deputy SSC reports to the Group Security Controller (GSC).
The Deputy SSC will work from a dedicated DXC site but may also have security responsibilities for satellite sites in a wider geographical area.
The Deputy SSC also performs the role of site Deputy Crypto Custodian for the site. The Deputy Crypto Custodian is responsible to the Group Security Controller for the safe custody, registration, mustering, amendment, issue, safe handling, arranging secure carriage and disposal of Cryptographic items held at their locations.
