Job summary

Northern Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Deputy Service Manager to lead Mary Seacole House, Bolton, a 24-hour supported living service. The role involves supporting the overall management, leading a dedicated team, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with CQC regulations, and helping residents achieve independence.

You will develop staff, recruit and supervise, work with healthcare professionals and commissioners, and contribute to a values-led culture.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or management experience within mental health services preferably supported living.
• Experience supporting people with mental health needs, learning disabilities or autism.
• A good understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) is desirable.
• Applications are welcomed from experienced leaders, RMNs and OT with supported living experience.
