Location: In service based in Croydon, CR0 1EB. You will be required to work across multiple services within the area.
Salary: £30,200
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, working across a rota including day and night shifts as the service operates 24 hours.
We are seeking a Deputy Service Manager to lead our team in Croydon, providing leadership and line management to approximately 10 night staff. You will support and supervise during night shifts, promote a psychologically informed environment (PIE), and ensure the delivery of quality, person-centred support aligned with contractual requirements. You will work closely with day teams to ensure smooth handovers and support residents with mental health and personal development.
This is a forensic mental health service supporting 27 residents across 4 sites. Travel between sites during night shifts is required, so access to personal transport is necessary.
We seek a passionate, motivated leader with experience working with individuals with mental health issues and complex backgrounds. You should be able to lead a team to meet KPIs, support residents effectively, and promote the service externally. Flexibility, IT proficiency, and understanding of social marginalisation are essential.
