Job summary

Sir Thomas Fremantle School is seeking a deputy SENDCO to join our Inclusion Team. You will lead the operational elements of the SEND department under the strategic direction of the Head of Inclusion, carrying out day-to-day procedures to support students, families and external agencies.

Responsibilities

Lead SEND department operations under the Head of Inclusion and the deputy SENDCO.
Oversee day-to-day procedures to support students, families and external agencies.
Develop and maintain relationships with parents, carers and partners.
Ensure safeguarding duties and DBS checks are completed for new staff.
