King’s Oak Academy, part of the Cabot Learning Federation, seeks a Deputy SENCO to support the SEND team across a 4–16 age range. You will assist in leading SEND provision, maintain the SEND register, and ensure high-quality learning outcomes.

The role supports professional collaboration within a thriving, multi-academy trust. The post requires NVQ Level 3 in education/SEN or equivalent, strong understanding of learning needs, and experience with SEND students.

Competenze

• An NVQ level 3 in education and/or SEN or equivalent.
• Understanding of learning processes and behaviour management strategies to support learning.
• Experience with SEND students and working in a cohesive team.

Mansioni

• Support the SENCO in leading and managing SEND provisions.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of the SEND team and SEND register.
• Ensure individual needs and statements are met and resources used effectively.
• Deliver measurable impact on attainment and personal development.
• Deputise for the SENCO when required.
