Job summary

Bromley Beacon Academy in London is seeking an inspirational Deputy SENCO to support the SEND strategy across the school. You will work under the SENCO and Headteacher to develop policy and monitor pupil support.

You will collaborate with teachers, parents, carers and external agencies, with STPCD responsibilities and a focus on positive outcomes for pupils with SEND. This is a 3 days per week, 21.6-hour role with TLR and SEN allowances.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and SEND experience.
• Experience coordinating SEND provision is advantageous.
• Strong collaboration with staff, parents and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support the strategic development of SEND policy and practice across the school.
• Coordinate and monitor support for pupils with SEND to achieve positive outcomes.
• Work with class teachers, parents, carers and external agencies; fulfil STPCD responsibilities.
