Job summary

Queensmead House School in Windsor is hiring a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. The role supports safeguarding actions, liaises with agencies and families, and assists the DSL to protect children with complex needs.

The school offers excellent facilities, a Good Ofsted rating, and a strong commitment to inclusion. The post requires at least 2 years in a Deputy DSL role, CPD in safeguarding, proficient IT use, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead in a school setting.
• Experience with CPD related to Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the DSL to safeguard children and carry out delegated tasks daily.
• Liaise with statutory/non-statutory agencies, parents, carers and staff.
• Assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead in fulfilling statutory duties.
