Christ Church CE Primary School in Eccles is seeking a Children and Families Officer / Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to support pupil welfare, attendance and safeguarding responsibilities. The role is 30 hours per week, permanent and term-time only plus 5 inset days, starting January 2027 or sooner.

You will work closely with families, staff and external agencies to promote wellbeing and inclusive practices.

Aufgaben

• Support the safeguarding and welfare of pupils as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Work proactively with children and families to overcome barriers to attendance, learning and wellbeing.
• Lead and coordinate family support, Children in Need and Child Protection and Early Help interventions.
• Support attendance improvement and work closely with families where attendance is a concern.
• Liaise effectively with external agencies including Children's Services, Health, Police and Early Help teams.
• Maintain accurate safeguarding, attendance and pastoral records.
• Contribute to inclusion and ensuring every child thrives.
• Contribute to the Christian ethos across the school.
