The Deputy Room Leader role offers a salary of up to £29,000 for full-time, 40 hours per week. Joining Kido provides:

Role responsibilities

As a Deputy Room Leader, you’ll be a key ambassador for our values and culture. You’ll co-lead your room with the Room Leader, ensuring inspiring learning experiences that meet EYFS standards and our curriculum. You’ll observe and assess children, support goal setting, and lead by example. You’ll also step in for the Room Leader when needed, maintaining a welcoming and high-quality environment. You’ll facilitate curiosity and exploration, communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, and record children’s progress meticulously. Your role involves creating a nurturing space that respects each child’s background and needs, constantly striving for excellence in early years education.

Qualifications and qualities
  • Relevant childcare qualification, Level 2 minimum (see https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england)
  • Alignment with our core values: Listen, Learn, Lead
  • Experience as an Educator, preferably as a Deputy Room Leader
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Prepared to undergo background checks, including DBS and Safer Recruitment procedures
