Deputy Risk Officer

We are searching for an experienced Deputy Risk Officer.

We are looking for a Deputy Risk Officer to work as a deputy to our Head of Risk & Compliance. As part of a wider risk, compliance, legal, and assurance teams, you will partner with the business to maintain our enterprise risk register. This role involves more than administrative tasks; our team drives meaningful change across the business by using risk management to identify priorities. You will advise and support on key initiatives to manage risks more efficiently and effectively.

Our continued growth and commitment to evolving RSM into a digitally savvy business with infrastructure fit for the future provide a unique opportunity to lead in transforming systems and processes supporting a critical, regulated part of our operations.

We operate a flexible hybrid-working model, focusing on being where we can most effectively support the service lines, which may occasionally involve travel to other UK-based offices.

You'll make an impact by:

• Partnering with the business to identify potential risks and facilitate risk assessments.
• Producing regular reports for key stakeholders to clearly communicate our risk status and goals.
• Enhancing our risk management framework by defining our Target Operating Model and implementing impactful improvements such as Key Risk Indicators.
• Conducting horizon scanning to stay ahead of emerging risks.
• Supporting the Incident Response Team in managing incidents and conducting post-action reviews to improve future responses.
