Barnsley Council is seeking an experienced Deputy Residential Home Manager to support the Registered Manager in a children’s home in England. You will lead the residential team, ensure safeguarding and high standards of care, and collaborate with families, social workers and partner agencies to help children achieve positive outcomes.

You should have prior residential children's setting experience, strong safeguarding knowledge, and proven leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the leadership and management of the children's home.
• Provide supervision, coaching and support to residential staff.
• Ensure high-quality, child-centred care and safeguarding compliance.
• Promote positive relationships with children, families and partner agencies.
• Support care planning and risk management processes.
• Contribute to Ofsted readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the home’s lead in the Registered Manager's absence.
• Help create a culture where children feel safe, valued and supported.
