Job summary

Premier Selection Limited is seeking a Deputy General Manager for a busy country pub near Kettering. You will deputise for the General Manager on days off, open and close the venue, and ensure smooth daily operations with a hands-on approach.

The role requires supervisory hospitality experience, knowledge of food and wine, and the ability to lead staff while developing customer relations and promotions. Own transport is essential for the Corby area.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel, pub or restaurant at supervisory level.
• Knowledge of food and wine.
• Ability to deputise for the General Manager and run a service at least twice a week.
• Must have own transport and live within the Corby area or nearby.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the General Manager on days off and during busy periods.
• Open and close the business and ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
• Lead front-of-house staff, manage customer feedback and handle complaints.
• Assist with marketing ideas, social media activity and promotions.
