United Infrastructure is seeking a Deputy Project Manager based in the Inverness area of Scotland. The role supports the PM in ensuring delivery across scope, schedule, cost and risk, while interfacing between engineering and project teams and maintaining stakeholder clarity.

You will contribute to multi-million-pound projects, with experience in data analysis, cost estimation, and project planning, and a focus on safety and compliance within a net-zero aligned UK energy context.

Qualifications

  • Suitably educated in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent qualifications/ equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Demonstrated project delivery skills in data analysis, stakeholder management, cost estimation, project planning and communication.

Responsabilités

  • Reviews and plans project details.
  • Designs activities using existing solutions.
  • Maintains relationships with team and stakeholders.
  • Negotiates changes with the sponsor/customer.
  • Reports progress regularly.
  • Manages external suppliers where applicable.

UI Power T&D are seeking a Deputy Project Manager based in the Inverness area of Scotland. The role will ensure delivery excellence on assigned projects by effectively supporting managing scope, schedule, cost, and risk, resourcing and playing a pivotal role in the design interface between engineering and the project while providing clarity and assurance to stakeholders, overseeing progress, and adhering to organizational procedures and safety standards.

You will have experience of development and delivery of multi-million-pound projects to deliver safely, on-time and within budget. Experience of working on NGED, SSEN, NGET and similar transmission and distribution network operators would be advantageous.

The Role

As Deputy Project Manager, you'll support the PM in overseeing project delivery, while ensuring stakeholder clarity, aligning with UI Power T&D and client goals, and applying high standards throughout all project phases, including design and construction, with essential experience in handling T&D project design and budgets.

Suitably educated or equivalent demonstrable experience is required, along with proven project delivery skills in areas such as data analysis, stakeholder management, cost estimation, project planning, and effective communication, while demonstrating strong organisational abilities and initiative.
