We are recruiting for a Deputy Pharmacy Procurement Managerwho shares our ambition and vision to deliver theBest of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

To provide a comprehensive and high quality pharmaceutical service, involved in all stages with the use of medicines to ensure the safe, cost effective, and rational use of medicinal treatment for patient care.

Main duties of the job

Supervise the processes governing the purchasing and invoicing of medicines in accordance with the South East Pharmaceutical contracts agreed with CMU and other local Trust purchasing agreements.

To supervise the purchasing office and maximise the use of technology and new innovations in order to increase the efficiency of procedures and maximise cost savings.
