Job summary

MiChild Group is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager for Sunbeams Nursery in Atherton. You will lead daily operations, maintain high standards of care and education, and ensure safeguarding for children, families and staff.

We value teamwork, compassion and continuous learning. The role requires 40 hours per week, shift-based, with competitive pay and extensive staff benefits from day one.

• Located in Atherton, rated "good" by Ofsted with up to 78 children as part of the MiChild family
• 3 bright play spaces for ages, 0-2, 2-3 and 3-4 years and a sensory exploration room
• 2 outdoor garden spaces - we love outdoor play from yoga and games to imaginative play
• We value teamwork and reflective practice, we support each other to learn and develop

• Location: Atherton train station is a 10 minute walk, there are several bus routes nearby

All about You!

• You will have experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager with a Level 3 early years qualification
• You will be committed to modelling and providing high levels of care and education to all children
• Experienced at prioritising safeguarding for children, staff and families
• Evidence of developed EYFS knowledge and practice
• Ability to lead and manage your team, identify areas of development, building cohesion and support
• Visible passion and excitement about developing little minds, innovative and fun
• Ability to commit to a full time, 40 hours per week position, shift based
