Family First Day Nursery in Coton, United Kingdom, is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to join our friendly team. This full-time role, based at Coton Day Nursery (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday), offers a competitive salary up to £34,923.20 per year, depending on experience, and the opportunity to lead a devoted early years team in a pastoral setting.

You will support the Nursery Manager, ensure EYFS compliance, oversee safety and learning, and drive high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification is required.
• At least one year of experience in an Early Years setting is required.
• Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership is preferred.
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections resulting in Good or Outstanding outcomes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager in leading the team and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Promote child safety and safeguarding across staff, families and visitors.
• Support EYFS framework implementation and regulatory compliance.
• Help manage medication procedures and care plans where needed.
• Drive children's development through stimulating activities and environment.
• Motivate and develop colleagues, maintaining high standards of practice.
• Maintain accurate records using EyMan and relevant files.
• Collaborate with the management team for day-to-day nursery operations.
