Job summary

Fennies Day Nurseries Ltd is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to lead a thriving nursery, supporting the Nursery Manager and ensuring exceptional care and educational standards. You will drive leadership of a passionate team and uphold safeguarding, safety and regulatory compliance.

You will build strong partnerships with families and the community while contributing to continuous improvement and staff development. This is a meaningful step for experienced early years professionals ready to lead.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EYFS, Birth to 5 Matters and child development.
• Experience in an early years setting, senior practitioner or room leader.
• Track record of delivering high standards of care and education.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day leadership and smooth running of the nursery.
• Inspire and guide educators to deliver outstanding early years practice.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and compliance.
• Build strong partnerships with families and the local community.
• Support team development through coaching and mentoring.
• Help prepare for Ofsted inspections and maintain regulatory standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across educational quality and nursery performance.
