An established industry player in early years education is seeking a passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join their vibrant team. Nursery: Blueberry Nursery School, Hove, 5 Davigdor Road, Hove, BN3 1QB
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus £1,000 Welcome Bonus

You are a Level 3 or above qualified, Senior Early Years Educator / Senior Practitioner / Senior Nursery Nurse / Room leader who is ready for their next step or, you may even be an experienced Deputy Manager or similar who thrives on leading by example and inspiring others. Either way, we'd love to hear from you.
You love supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children, while motivating your team to do the same.
You have a natural, nurturing openness, along with a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards for young children in the UK.
As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be an integral part of the nursery management team, ensuring the setting has the right staff, culture, policies, and resources to deliver high standards of childcare and early years education.
You will identify areas for improvement and implement solutions, whether related to learning techniques or creating stimulating environments. You will embrace inclusivity to meet the individual needs of all within your care.
You will promote a love of learning through high-quality teaching under the EYFS framework, ensuring children are safe and engaged in rich, stimulating experiences. You will lead, motivate, and inspire educators, manage staffing ratios, attract new hires, and provide development opportunities. You will also deputise for the Nursery Manager during their absence.
