Deputy Nursery Manager

Location: Tunbridge Wells FWC | Nursery | Permanent | Full time

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week

This is a fantastic opportunity to help run one of the brilliant nurseries inside the UK's largest Healthcare Charity. We're Ofsted registered and we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our initiatives support children's wellbeing, starting with you.

As a Deputy Nursery Manager at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery in our Tunbridge Wells Fitness and Wellbeing Club, you'll need to be qualified with NNEB, NVQ Level 3/4, BTEC, BA Hons, or equivalent. Ideally, you also hold Early Years Practitioner Status, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene qualifications. An enhanced DBS is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the team and deputising for the Nursery Manager
• Ensuring high standards of care and education
• Promoting children's health, growth, and development
• Following the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Overseeing planning activities and assessments, implementing childcare legislation updates
• Knowing and implementing safeguarding policies and procedures
• Maintaining communication with parents, carers, and external professionals
• Supporting operational responsibilities of the Nursery
• Driving high-quality standards aligned with the Nuffy Bear Ethos
• Identifying opportunities to grow sales and achieve revenue targets
