Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager based at Cottingley Manor in our Nuffield Health gym.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help run one of the nurseries within the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity. We’re Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our initiatives, including swimming and mindfulness, are designed to support children’s wellbeing and education.

The ideal candidate will be qualified with either the NNEB, NVQ Level 3, BTEC, BA Hons, or equivalent.

As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will:

• Support the team and deputise in the absence of the Nursery Manager
• Ensure high standards of care and education are maintained
• Promote the health, growth, and development of every child
• Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Oversee planning activities and assessments, implementing childcare legislation updates
• Know and implement safeguarding policies and procedures
• Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and external professionals
• Support the Nursery Manager with operational responsibilities
• Drive the nursery to deliver high-quality standards aligned with the Nuffy Bear Ethos
