Job summary

Maven Partners Offshore in Jersey is seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager to lead Trust and Funds compliance, provide regulatory guidance, and monitor adherence across the business. This hands-on role also holds Deputy MLCO and Deputy Compliance Officer responsibilities, including guiding management, overseeing a small team, and shaping a strong culture of compliance.

Entitlement to work in Jersey is required and the successful candidate will contribute to regulatory change and risk reduction

Qualifications

• ICA Diploma or equivalent qualification demonstrated.
• Experience in Trust and Funds Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of financial services regulation and sanctions.
• Experience advising staff and senior management on sanctions.
• Pursuing or holding a relevant professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support Compliance Officer, MLRO and MLCO across Trust and Funds.
• Provide regulatory guidance to management and staff.
• Conduct compliance monitoring programmes and prepare reports.
• Promote a proactive culture of compliance across Trust and Funds.
• Assess regulatory and compliance risks for new business strategies and initiatives.
• Lead and develop a small team of three; manage performance and development.
• Interpret economic sanctions and advise accordingly.
