Connaught Resourcing Ltd (Education) is seeking an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager for a fixed term contract at a co-educational independent school. The role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding and professional practice to support the Nursery.

Working with the Early Years Manager, the successful candidate will help lead and motivate the Nursery team, oversee induction and staff development, manage staffing and resources, and help implement Nursery

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager/Early Year Lead in the effective leadership and management of the Nursery.
• Deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Nursery.
• Lead by example and promote a positive, collaborative and professional team culture.
• Support the induction, supervision and development of Nursery staff.
• Assist with staff deployment, rotas and allocation of responsibilities to ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective use of resources.
• Support performance management and contribute to staff appraisal and professional development.
• Promote high standards of communication and teamwork across the Nursery and wider school.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Nursery policies and procedures.

We are urgently seeking an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager for a fixed term contract for a co-educational independent school committed to providing an outstanding education and nurturing environment for children from the earliest years onwards.

The Deputy Nursery Manager will play a key role in ensuring that the Nursery operates to the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding and professional practice.

Working closely with the Early Years Manager, the successful candidate will help lead and motivate the Nursery team, maintain a high-quality learning environment and ensure that children receive exceptional care and educational experiences.
