Job summary

Hallmark Luxury Care Homes is seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join the new Melrose Grange (St Mellons) team. You will work closely with the General Manager to shape the clinical culture and ensure a relationship-centred approach is embedded from day one.

You will lead clinical and care delivery, drive governance, and support recruitment and development to build a high-performing team focused on exceptional resident care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
• Experience leading clinical care within a care home environment.
• Proven ability to drive quality improvement and governance.

Our newest Hallmark Luxury 80 bed Care Home, Melrose Grange, is currently taking shape in St Mellons and we're looking for an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join us as we prepare to open our doors. This is an opportunity to play a key role in bringing a brand-new home to life. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll help shape the clinical culture, support our bighearted team and ensure our approach to Relationship-Centred Care is embedded from day one., As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will place resident wellbeing at the heart of everything you do. Combining strong clinical leadership with a compassionate, person-centred approach, you will support the delivery of exceptional care while fostering a positive, supportive culture for residents, families, and colleagues.,

• Support the General Manager in leading and developing the wider team, ensuring colleagues are aligned with Hallmark's values, vision and Charter.
• Lead clinical and care delivery within the home, ensuring the highest standards of assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Drive quality, compliance and clinical governance, promoting continuous improvement and best practice.
• Support the recruitment, development and retention of a high-performing care team as part of the commissioning process.
• Ensure the clinical and care teams adhere to professional standards and codes of conduct.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
• Act as a visible, supportive leader, promoting a culture where residents and colleagues can thrive.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, evolving care home environment. We're looking for an experienced Deputy Manager, or perhaps a General Manager of a smaller luxury home, with a strong clinical background. Ideally, you'll also have experience of commissioning and be ready to take on a role with real responsibility and influence., We're looking for an inspirational clinical leader who can motivate, engage and develop a high-performing team while delivering outstanding standards of care.

You'll be a Registered General Nurse with an active NMC PIN and a proven track record of leadership within a care home environment. Comfortable working with CIW, Social Services and Safeguarding teams, you'll have experience driving quality improvement through clinical governance, auditing and action planning, while fostering a positive culture for residents and colleagues alike. You'll have:

• Previous experience operating as a Deputy Manager in a luxury environment, OR Perhaps have been working as a General Manager in a smaller bedded home.
• Registered RGN, whilst not working on shifts, this home will have a large Nursing and Dementia community.
• Experience working with older people within a health and social care setting.
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, compliance, quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
• Experience implementing improvement plans and delivering positive outcomes.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging with residents, families and external stakeholders.
• Good IT skills and experience using digital care systems.
• A positive, approachable leadership style and a passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.
