Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead a store team at St Helens Retail Park, Warrington New Road. You will drive sales, coach staff, and ensure outstanding service to every customer in a fast-paced environment.

You will empower your team, manage daily operations, and help shape store standards while supporting career progression and continuous training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small to medium-sized retail teams in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to drive satisfaction.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop talent within a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate staff.
• Commercially aware with the ability to hit targets and optimise store performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to drive targets and deliver excellent service.
• Develop and coach team to maintain store presentation and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee daily store activities, scheduling and welfare of staff.
• Support the Store Manager in expanding our reach and maintaining standards.
• Prioritise, organise, and coordinate tasks to ensure smooth running of the store.
