Job summary

CareTech's Oaktrees service in Oldhurst is seeking a passionate Deputy Manager to lead a dedicated team and maintain outstanding care in line with CQC standards.

You will deliver person-centred support, supervise care workers, manage records, and coordinate daily living activities while working a rota including evenings and weekends.

• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Drivers desirable but not essential

• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team

• Supervise a team of support workers to enable our service users to lead a fulfilling life

We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our service in Oldhurst to assist in leading our dedicated team and ensure the continued delivery of outstanding care in line with CQC and regulatory standards.

About the Service - Oaktrees

Rated GOOD by CQC, Oaktrees supports 6 male Service Users who have a diagnosis of autism. The Service Users are very active and involved in many community activities; including singing in the village choir! They also enjoy attending their local pub, trips out to the zoo, the local shops as well as BBQs and picnics. The friendly and long standing staff members, to include the manager who has been in situ for over 20 years', are excellent at empowering the Service Users to enable them to become more independent - all are very pro-active in making decisions within the home, ensuring a person centered approach.

The Role

• Supervise a team of support workers to enable our service users to lead as fulfilling and satisfying a life as they possibly can

We're seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
