An exciting permanent opportunity has opened up for a Deputy Lifting Manager to join EnerMech on the UK's Low Carbon Nuclear project based in Bridgwater, Somerset. The purpose of the role is to ensure the site and associated developments maintain compliance with it's arrangements and promote best practice, and to establish and implement a world class approach to lifting on the construction site. Other main responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Requirements for this role include a CPCS Appointed Persons Blue card (competent operator), and ECITB Appointed Person Moving Loads TAP01. You will have the ability to establish a vision and develop/implement strategy to attain it. You will have knowledge of national and international HSE standards including CDM regulations, LOLER and BS5975. You will also have experience of managing multi-disciplined teams and construction industry knowledge.
A proven track record in nuclear power in preferred. Good knowledge of large projects and site operations is also preferred.
