Job summary

Remedicare Staffing in Maidstone is seeking a passionate Care Home Deputy Manager to join a modern residential home specialising in elderly care. The role offers a 5-day week and a starting salary of £35,000+ per year.

You will be part of the management team, overseeing staff orientation, developing care plans, liaising with families and healthcare professionals, and ensuring high standards of person-centred care in a 26-bed setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above.
• Medication trained.
• Experience of working within a Care Home environment.
• Proficient with care plans, risk assessments, supervisions, liaising with families and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the floor to maintain high quality care provision.
• Carrying out audits in conjunction with the Registered Manager.
• Stepping in for the Registered Manager and running the service when they are out of the home.
• Ensuring compliance with the Health and Social Care Act, CQC and relevant legislation.
