The Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution Care Company is seeking a Deputy Home Manager at Connaught Court, Fulford, York to lead care delivery and support staff in delivering safe, compassionate, and dignified care. You will mentor teams, oversee medication processes, and maintain regulatory standards to ensure the home runs smoothly.

• Proven experience in a care setting with the ability to lead, motivate and support teams.

About the Role

In this senior leadership role, you’ll support the Home Manager to oversee care delivery and team performance. You’ll mentor and supervise staff, ensure residents’ needs are met with dignity and consistency and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll also liaise with families, health professionals and external stakeholders, helping the home run safely and smoothly every day.

You will be a visible and supportive presence, guiding the team, auditing care plans, managing medication processes and helping implement improvements that enhance residents’ wellbeing.
