Deputy Home Manager : Exeter

The Company

Nurse Seekers are extremely proud to be recruiting a fantastic Deputy Manager (RN) for our clients' Residential Care Home in Exeter, Devon. Our client provides high-level residential care in a lovely home-from-home environment.

About You

For this role, our client is looking for a motivated individual with strong experience in a Care Home setting. You will be passionate about care, with a genuine drive to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home. You will be keen to develop your leadership skills, capable of building close relationships with residents and their families, and determined to drive continuous improvement.

The role is open to experienced Deputy Managers or to candidates such as Team Leaders or experienced Senior Carers who are ambitious and looking to make the next step up.

The Role

To support the Home Manager with the management of the home, with a particular emphasis on leadership, ensuring that an excellent standard of resident care is set, delivered, and maintained at all times.

Duties Will Include

• Supervising and monitoring care practices to ensure the consistent provision of the highest quality of care to residents.
• Supporting the Home Manager in recruitment, retention, and performance management.
• Assisting in managing budgets and resources, including duty rotas and skill mix requirements.
