Qualifications

• QTS is required and a track record in senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of teaching, learning, curriculum and assessment.
• Experience driving school improvement and raising outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Headteacher and provide strategic leadership.
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement.
• Lead school improvement via self-evaluation, QA and evidence-based practice.
• Monitor and develop teaching quality through lesson visits and coaching.
• Lead assessment, tracking and reporting to improve outcomes.
• Develop an ambitious, inclusive curriculum from Reception to Sixth Form.
• Oversee behaviour, safeguarding and student wellbeing.
• Coach and mentor middle leaders; recruit and develop staff.
• Ensure safeguarding and inspection readiness.
