Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• Significant leadership experience in a specialist SEND setting.
• Proven track record of improving teaching and pupil outcomes.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and inclusive practice.
• Ability to inspire and develop colleagues and teams.

Responsabilités

• Support and deputise for the Headteacher in strategic leadership.
• Lead curriculum development, assessment, attendance, and safeguarding.
• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL).
• Monitor standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Line manage staff and foster professional growth.
• Develop an engaging, inclusive curriculum for pupils with learning disabilities.
• Collaborate with families, authorities, therapists and external professionals.
