Job summary

OneSchool Global UK is seeking a Deputy Headteacher for the Ashbrook Campus in Coventry. This senior role partners with the Campus Principal to drive teaching excellence, student wellbeing, and campus performance in a dynamic, global school environment.

You will lead professional development, monitor student outcomes, and oversee day-to-day leadership. The role requires strong leadership, safeguarding knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement across the campus.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Significant teaching experience with evidence of strong student outcomes.
• Successful leadership experience within a school environment.
• Experience of coaching, mentoring, and developing teaching staff.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and statutory educational requirements.
• Experience of analysing and using data to improve student performance.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Campus Principal when required, providing leadership and operational oversight of the campus.
• Lead, support, and inspire teaching and support staff to achieve outstanding outcomes.
• Drive improvements in teaching, learning, curriculum delivery, and student achievement.
• Ensure compliance with Independent School Standards, safeguarding requirements, and OneSchool Global policies.
• Maintain effective relationships with students, parents, staff, governors, and external agencies.
• Contribute to campus self-evaluation, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
