Outcomes First Group seeks a Deputy Headteacher - Curriculum, Teaching and Learning to shape curriculum excellence across Trent Acres School and Brookfield College. You will lead curriculum strategy, teaching and assessment for pupils aged 5 to 19 with Autism and Complex Needs, driving improvements across primary, secondary and post-16 settings.

You will work with the Headteacher and SLT to ensure ambitious education, high-quality teaching, and personalised pathways across two sites,

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS required.
• Significant teaching and senior leadership experience in a school leadership team.
• Strong expertise in curriculum design, development and implementation.
• Experience using assessment and progress data to drive improvement.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop others effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the curriculum strategy across two sites, ensuring ambitious, inclusive learning.
• Drive excellence in teaching, learning and assessment to improve outcomes from primary to post-16.
• Monitor student progress and use data to inform improvement planning.
• Develop and coach teachers and leaders for high performance.
• Provide strong leadership across both settings to promote consistency and collaboration.
• Lead curriculum planning, staffing and resource deployment for effective pathways.
• Line manage key middle and senior leaders and contribute to strategic planning.
