Job summary

St Peter’s Catholic Primary School, part of the Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust, seeks a committed Deputy Headteacher to work with the Headteacher, Governors and the Trust Central Team to drive school improvement and the future vision.

The successful candidate will model Catholic ethos, lead by example, and foster strong relationships with staff, families and external partners while delivering high standards of teaching and pupil outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a practising Catholic committed to Catholic ethos.
• Experience in primary education and school leadership.
• Ability to lead school improvement and work with Trust and Governors.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Headteacher in leading and managing the school.
• Support and represent the Headteacher at meetings.
• Undertake professional duties of Headteacher during absence.
• Collaborate with Headteacher and Trust to raise standards.
