Wingfield Academy is looking for a visionary, ambitious, and innovative Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team at a crucial stage in the academy’s development.
About the role
This is a rare opportunity for an outstanding strategic leader who is dedicated to driving meaningful change, inspiring others, and playing a central role in a leadership team that aspires to be the very best.As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a key role in shaping the academy’s future as we work towards achieving Outstanding status.
You will take personal responsibility for the successful implementation of the strategic plan, ensuring high expectations are met across all areas of school life. You will actively support the development and maintenance of policies and practices that promote high achievement, inclusion, and excellence in teaching, learning, and behaviour.
The specific responsibilities of this role will be agreed at interview and will be aligned to the successful candidate’s interests, expertise and identified school improvement areas.
About you
The post would suit a dynamic and enthusiastic leader with a strong track record of raising achievement in a secondary school setting.
You will be an excellent practitioner who leads by example, with strong leadership experience and the ability to inspire and motivate others. A deep knowledge of effective classroom practice and a clear, strategic vision for school improvement are essential for this role.
