Job summary

Banks Lane Junior School in Stockport is seeking an inspirational and forward-thinking Deputy Headteacher to work closely with the Headteacher and drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will lead by example, champion safeguarding as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), and collaborate with a skilled Leadership Team to raise standards and support staff development.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in senior school management.
  • Experience in driving teaching and learning improvements.
  • Ability to work closely with the Headteacher and Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and forward-thinking non class based Deputy Headteacher with a proven track record of leadership. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

  • Secures Safeguarding: Possesses an excellent understanding of safeguarding procedures and is ready to lead a positive culture of safety across the school as our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
