Vision for Education Ltd is representing a large, Outstanding specialist SEND school in Kingsbury, NW London. They seek an experienced Deputy Headteacher to join the Senior Leadership Team, driving whole-school improvement with accountability for inclusion, safeguarding, attendance, behaviour and learner wellbeing.
The role requires strategic leadership, DSL experience or readiness to assume it, and a commitment to an inclusive, aspirational environment.

Salary: £95 - £100 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join the Senior Leadership Team and work closely with the Head of School to drive whole-school improvement.
The successful candidate will have strategic responsibility for inclusion, safeguarding, attendance, behaviour, school culture, medical needs, therapeutic provision, family engagement and learner wellbeing, as well as deputising for the Head of School when required.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior leader with a strong background in specialist SEND or complex educational settings, with proven experience in safeguarding, inclusion and behaviour leadership.
You will ideally have experience as a DSL or Deputy DSL, alongside a strong understanding of SEND legislation, Positive Behaviour Support and multi-agency working.
You will be a strategic, emotionally intelligent and resilient leader, with the ability to inspire staff, build strong relationships with families and professionals, and drive meaningful improvement across the school.
