Job summary

MyNewTerm is seeking an ambitious Deputy Headteacher to join the Senior Leadership Team at our secondary academy. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will shape strategy, drive school improvement and ensure excellent teaching, learning and student outcomes.

The role requires QTS, a degree, proven leadership in a secondary setting, and a track record of raising standards. You will coach staff, lead curriculum and data-driven improvement, and promote high standards of behaviour and

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant and successful leadership experience within a secondary school setting.
  • A proven track record of raising standards and improving student outcomes.
  • Experience of leading teaching and learning and developing staff through coaching and mentoring.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire others and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Deputy Headteacher (Secondary)

We are seeking an ambitious and talented Deputy Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about improving outcomes, developing staff and ensuring every young person receives an exceptional education. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the academy and driving continuous improvement

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead whole-school improvement initiatives to raise standards of teaching, learning and student achievement.

Pay range: L18 - L22

Qualifications and Skills
