Working closely with the founding Headteacher, you will establish safeguarding, inclusion, and therapeutic approaches, build strong partnerships with families, and create systems to support pupils as the school grows.

Deputy Headteacher

New Specialist SEN School | Braintree, Essex

An exciting opportunity to help shape a new school from the very beginning - with the potential to progress to Headteacher as the school grows.

We are delighted to be recruiting a Deputy Headteacher to join the founding leadership team of an exciting new Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Braintree, Essex.

This is much more than a traditional Deputy Headteacher role. As a new school, you will have the rare opportunity to help create the culture, curriculum, systems and community that will define the school for years to come.

Working closely with the founding Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and developing the school.

• Strong systems for safeguarding, behaviour, attendance and pastoral support.
